Ripped From The Headlines...

Though Gone To Ground may sound outlandish (okay, it is), "cousins" of many if not most of the plot elements can be found in the LA Times and CNN. To wit, today's edition has two stories that parallel the Councilman's quid pro quo behavior...(https://www.cnn.com/2023/12/20/tech/rite-aid-ai-ftc-settlement/index.html)

...and Valley Mercado's apocryphal camera issue.

A few weeks ago we had the actual announcement of the LA to Vegas bullet train (I picked Rosemead as its original terminus for no apparent reason and it's actually intended for Rancho Cucamonga...better watch out RC!)

Just call me Nostra-damn-us

Oh, and this one. Blows me away. Inspiration for the towers that shot up in ten days...in China it was 48 hours.
